I have a Presario 2100, and like everyone else, i have a power problem. Mine seems to be a bit different though. The ac light comes on and the battery charges fine until I press the start button. Then the light goes off imediately and the system boots and runs fine, but only runs on the battery power. When the battery is exausted it shuts down and recharges fully.
Any feedback would be greatly welcomed.

I have the same problem. Just resolder the power connector.Take it to a computer repair center and tell the to resolder the powerjack/power connector :) :p
