I am curious if the Extigy USB Soundblaster has a good life yet? I got one from the Goodwill and see a few up on eBay, but around the same price I paid, or upto $50 in some cases. I would love to try MIDI but have no experience there either.
I am noting the improvements in sound technology and think for right now, I'll wait to see what comes out soon. The Extigy has proprietary features from Creative, but I'm missing remote and software, though XP recognized it, it only has Dolby Digital 5.1, so I'd like DTS and 6.1, etc.
