My Dell Inspiron 1150 won't boot up. I did all the troubleshooting recommended on their site, but nothing pans out. Power supply is functioning, external monitor doesn't solve the problem, a freak wear defect under the "C" door isn't apparent. Any idea how I can get a boot without replacing the motherboard, i.e. going to great expense???
