Hi, i recently bought a video card not even 2 weeks ago, and it has been working fine untill 2 days ago. I bought Gears Of War War (PC) and i installed it perfectly. But sometimes when i join campian mode, during the loading screen, it turns completly black, and my monitor goes into standby mode. I tried all of the following:

. Went to Control panel > Power Options > and turned all of the standby menus to Never.

. Changed the Hertz of my video card to 60HZ.

. Recovered/Reformated My Computer.

. Reinstalled The Game.

. Ran Anti-Virus software to see if it was a virus.

. Downloaded The Recent Drivers For My Computer/Motherboard.

I am running out of ideas on what to do.

My Computer Specs Are:

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Sp2
HP Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+
2.19GHz
1 GB PC3200 DDR SDRAM
250GB 7200RPM Serial ATA HD

My Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 7900GS (TurboForce Edition) with 256MB GDDR3

Can someone please help me out =)

When you say you downloaded all the recent drivers for you computer/motherboard does that include the windows updates?

Curious... what is the wattage of your power supply?
