Okay so I went through all the steps and here is my issue...

I use BitDefender for my protection and turned it off to run A-Squared & HouseCall (the other would not go past 31%). BD found this Trojan but none of the others did. Problem is BD said it could not remove it. Please help!!! BD said the infected files were 4 files in the System Volume Information\_restore{BD0B05E2-3C3F-4942-A971-CF8EB1EE940A}-\RP150\

A-squared was pulling up Vundo Trojan as well but not this time. From what I read this trojan will rename itself to avoid being located so it's a bugger to get rid of. For that reason I'm not so sure it's completely gone.

Here are my logs...

Download HijackThis Executable from here. Save it to your desktop.
Start HJT & press the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. When the scan is finished a window will pop up giving you the option of where to save it. Save it to desktop where it is easy to access. Open the log file and then go to the format Tab and make sure that wordwrap is unchecked. Copy the entire contents of the file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is necessary for the running of your system.

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.3 (BETA)

Here is the a-squared Anti-Malware

Since crunchie isn't here right now, he didn't ask you to run a-squared that is a totally different program. He asked you do download, install, update and run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. This should be able to remove the infection that you have.
The HiJackThis version you are running is 2.0.3 and is the Beta (Test) version, it is the Current version which is 2.0.2 he wants you to run which is on the Right Side of the page he gave you.

As you can see on my list of programs I already have both A-squared & Hijackthis on my pc.

Yes I know. What I cannot see, is the version :).

Thanks Judy :)

Sorry... Here is what you asked for. I also removed a-squared and the BETA Hijackthis.

You DID NOT update MBA-M after the install and before the scan it still shows the original database which comes with the program download. MBA-M must always be updated before each and every scan. That HiJackThis is still the wrong one. Uninstall it via Add/Remove and download again from this link;
http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10781312.html

I followed the links that were provided and it did the update for MBA-M because I made sure it was checked, like you asked. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CAP to me. That is a little uncalled for. I am here asking for help, not to be scrutinized. I will download this one but I did go to the link YOU provided for Hijackthis the first time.

Pardon me. I didn't give you the original link crunchie did but I told you to download the program on the right side of the page which is the current version 2.0.2
Try again to update MBA-M as that database is at least 4 months old.
If you cannot update via the program then try this link for a manual update file. It won't be entirely current but more recent than the one you have
http://mbam.malwarebytes.org/database/mbam-rules.exe

I don't care who gave me the link. Be more professional when you help people, if that's what your going to do. I was at the Trendmicro site and downloaded the one on the right (the non-beta version). I may have erased the wrong exe file and just reinstalled the wrong one. My bad if I did but that is still reason to get an attitude with someone who is asking for help. Since the prior information about letting the program update on install did not suffice I have updated and running again. Loose the tude... or let someone else help me who is more professional. BTW you don't TELL anyone to do something you ask them to do it...

Some people use the CAPS to emphasise the word, not to shout. I am sure Judy's intention is only to emphasise :).
Maybe italics or bold would be best.
Just understand though, that helpers spend a lot of time (voluntarily) to assist those in need and are regularly confronted with people who post wrong logs, fail to update programs and generally not following the helpers instructions completely.
I admit to getting frustrated when this happens, but at the end of the day I think 'what the heck, they come for help and if they cannot follow simple instructions, no skin off my nose, as it's not my pc that's infected :).'

Anyway, I will endeavour to update my Hijackthis instructions to emphasise downloading the 2.0.2 version. The BETA version was not available when I wrote those instructions down.

MBA-M was definitely not up-to-date or it would show in the log the latest definitions.

Is the system restore entry the only one where the file is found?
To get rid of it, the best way is to disable system restore, reboot and re-enable.
Bear in mind that all restore points will be lost.

Let me know if you are still encountering problems.

Everything seems to be better so far. Already turned off system restore and rebooted. I'm sorry if I sounded upset but I have been trying to resolve this issue for quite some time. I really do thank everyone for assisting me. BTW Can you tell me which progs I should delete? AFT over CC, BitDefender over Avast, Windows malicious software removal tool, regcleaner, housecall, dds... I know I need to get rid of some so other can work properly but can you give some suggestions?

Thanks in advance =)

Toss up between ATF and CC. They both take up so little room that I would keep both.
No experience with Bitdefender, but I know Avast to be good.
I am totally against any type of reg cleaner, so that should go.
Get rid of Housecall and DDS.
Get rid of Combofix by:

  • Clicking START then RUN
  • Now type Click Start > Run and copy/paste the following bolded text into the Run box and click OK:

ComboFix /Uninstall in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the /, it needs to be there.

Keep MBA-M and update it before each scan. It is possibly the best, free tool available today.

I used caps for emphasis only because updating is key. I am sorry you feel I am not professional or capable. I only stepped in because others were not available. I will no longer offer assistance.

I tried to delete Combofix but it said file not found... Thanks again for all your help... =)

No worries :).
