how shortcut viruses are created. how it affects the folders into shortcut files ?

If your making viruses and sending them out it could get you into trouble. Computer Misuse act - "You may not Change, break or copy files without permission". Therefore this is counted as illegal and we do not help with illegal activity on DaniWeb.

hey mate. . i m not making any virus :). i would like to know more abt shortcut viruses .i couldnt use a pendrive because it was affected with shortcut viruses. so i want to know how it is created and how it affects the system and how it can be detected and deleted .again i want to make sure that im not making and spreading any viruses :).

Don't worry about "accidentally" creating a virus from scratch. It's not gonna happen. Worry about detecting and removing it. Check here, here and here
