I have two pc's with different owners with the same problem. Internet explorer will open fine to the home page. When you try to navigate to a different page it opens a new window and only goes to the home page. Internet explorer then becomes unresponsive and has to be shut off using the task manager. Any ideas? I have run all the normal Anti programs including Adaware, cw shredder, Spybot search and destroy, Avg antispy and AVG antivirus.

You'll need to posdt a HJT log here so that the branios can see what's running. Looks like a browser hijack to me on what you've said but this needs finding and eliminating.

I agree. Will post when I pick up the 2nd pc this afternoon. I got frustrated and formatted the first one.
