I need to know how to transfer /copy a true type data file from true type to text so that it can be read on a windows system. The font used is SERIF and does not transfer to windows as readable data. The font in windows can not read the file. I have ftp'd the file between the two systems.

I found that I had to copy the file as a text file and then copy it to windows using winscp
