Does anyone know of a program similar to SendLink (www.computerknacks.com) that is available for the Mac.

I want to be able to generate links (something like http://123.456.789.123/dj7Tsnk5fGshj) to images on my machine that can be used to download the file from a remote browser.

I would also be very interested if anyone has any information about how such links are generated and 'served'.
