Windows users can choose browsers

The 'So what...' award of the year has to go to Microsoft which has announced that as of this year they'll be able to choose which browser they use.

According to reports on the BBC, they'll be able to download and upgrade/crossgrade to Firefox, Chrome, whatever they want.

Well...duh.

This has to be the most substance-free announcement I've ever seen. I'm sure Microsoft had to install an installer for the terminally dim or face further action - but I installed Firefox, Chrome and a load of alternatives a while ago. It's easy, you just download and install by going to the websites.

Everyone reading this blog probably knew that. Anyone who can tell me what's actually changed in this new move will be doing me a great favour.
