I am running windows 98 with IE 6.0. After I have been online or offline for maybe one hour I get an error message that says, IEXPLORE has caused a general protection fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 0004:00000dc5 in a box that says either close or ignore I have tried to just ignore it but it wont let me so I click close and then another box comes up that says, MMTASK.DLL caused a general protection fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 0004:00000d32
and again it says close or ignore at this point it wont do either so I do the
ctrl/alt/delete and in that box I close rundll32 and it goes back to my desk top
but if I try to do anything from my desk top I get the same messages again
even if I try to shut down? so I have to shut down using the ctrl/alt/delete
and use the shut down in there and after I reboot my computer is fine for about an hour then it starts all over again with those errors?? can anyone help me with this please
