Tried to scan to e-mail after changing the e-mail program in the HP solution center from outlook to windows mail, but my scanned document appeared in outlook instead of windows mail. Changed the e-mail program from outlook to windows mail five times and double checked to see if windows mail appeared as the e-mail program in the scanjet setting, but when I scanned to e-mail, the windows mail disappeared and the document scanned to outlook which has never been my e-mail program.

Can anyone help.

Xp or Vista? Goto control panel internet options change your default mail program from outlook to windows mail. Why are you using windows mail instead of outlook? Thats like driving a honda when you have a Ferrari sitting in the garage?
