Aside from the difference in maximum processors I write to inquire what other differences exist between Server/Advanced Server. Specifically, with the regard to management, maintainance, monitoring.
Just installed vmware server to a Vista Ultimate machine with a quadcore 6600 2.4Ghz intel processor with virtualization technology and 4GB memory. Additionally, I would ask for opinions on how much memory should be allocated. Although mainly for testing and evaluation, I would want the windows server virtual machine configured for a small production environmnent.
