Hi i am trying to enlage a image that was taken with a cellphone (so it is small) but i want to try to make it a bit sharper sicne u can see the jpeg compression really fast as soon as it is enlaged. Any1 have any ideas on how to do this in photoshop of any other software. I am running Windows XP Pro fully updates and i have photoshop CS2 version 9.0.2.

There isn't really a way to do this, because it isn't really possible to eliminate all of the compression problems.
You can just resize it to no more than 150%. Then I would just play with the contrast, color, brightness and the stuff in view>adjustment.
Paint Shop Pro has some nice features for this stuff. But you will need to buy that.
