In purpose and usage it's the same as any other forum site. It creates a community for people who are interested in Infomation Technology to discuss topics as well as pose and answer questions.
In concept it's really no different than any other community formum, all that's different is the users and attitude. It's a great place to get questions answered and network with other people interested in technology.
