Hi
We had a black out of 8 hours
I have reset the router and modem
I can ping the router
but it keeps telling me you our not connected to the internet
the signal is recorded as very good
I have a Rosewell router
OP system is XP
my other computers are fine but this one is giving me a hard time
I did a ipconfig/flushdns but it failed during attempt
I did a netsh winsock reset catalog
still cannot get on line
help

ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew
if that does not do it, my rule of thumb for mysterious network issues is reset, reset, reset.
power down everything, plug in your modem first and give it a few minutes, then your router give it a minute, then boot up your machines.
