I just moved and am sharing an internet connection with my new roommates, which has a wep key. I have entered the key and my internet connection works great and then after about 2 minutes it cuts out. I have to click connect again and then wait about 10 seconds and the internet connection works great for about another 2 minutes and then cuts out yet again. The computer gets FULL reception according to win xp the signal is excellent at -43db. Is there any reason for this? It is really starting to bug the #*$@ out of me. I have tried changing the configurations in the g card to act as a 802.11b mode but that didn't help. We do not have MAC filtering enabled on the router. I have tried moving the router but that does not help.

I have a laptop with a 802.11b connection and it gets excellent reception and does not have this problem.
