My Aunt uses dial-up and although she can get onto AOL to get her e-mails, no other Internet connections will work. No IE, no Firefox, and cannot see any 'clickable' Links. Any help out there ?

Sounds like she needs to upgrade her everything (I'm not even sure if dial-up is even cheaper then more modern plans).
Anyways, if she's running Windows, open command prompt (press windows key and R, then type "cmd" <enter> without quotes), and type in "ping google.ca" <enter> without the quotes. What do you see?
A possbility: I beleive AOL might have had/has some "dial-up" like service that only allows browsing on their network. Does she have that, or does she have a full internet access dial-up plan?
