For curiosities sake,

Given 2 WindowsXP boxes connecting 802.11g to a linksys WRT54G v2 with default settings (open).

can I hide one PC's (PC#1) activity on the network and more importantly it's connection to said network from anther PC (PC#2)?

would this require more than a firewall?

for an added bonus, let's also assume PC#2 is running either NIS07 or TrendMicro's pccilinIS 07 which I assume has some level of ARPing abilities and alerts the user of PC#2 that PC#1 is currently on the same subnet.

again this is a purely hypothetical scenario.

sorry, no clue on my end :(
