I'm looking for a way to use a remote administration program (dameware maybe) that will be able to ack like the windows help in XP (meaning it can penitrate though a firewall). Does anyone know of any solution to this? | |
Re: Not true big max, you can setup two wireless cards to communicate w/o a AP. This is called ad-hoc a believe. and if yous et them up that way they should atleast get an APIPA address, try to ping that then, if not and your using 2k or newer then … | |

Re: If all you are doing is tranferring between to machines and don't have a hub you are going to need a cross over cable and then staticly assign both machines an ip address (if they are both windows you can just use the APIPA address). Then just map the share. | |

In my RedHat 9.0 linux vmware machine it found the vm network adapter but said that it is not present. how can I fix this, and what causes this? Rick |
