Re: Look at this website: dpreview.com They've got some great reviews there
We're wondering if anyone knows where to find detailed support for Keyscan System software. The regular user manual gives basic info but not that much troubleshooting details. Any comments would be appreciated.
My friend who uses Peachtree accounting software, has this problem, after getting a new wide screen monitor. When running Peachtree, there are text boxes off to the side, (that list help items, or a table of contents, etc.). Instead of being easy to read, the lines are pushed together, with …
Just wanted to give more credit to the Daniweb, for having information on this anti-malware tool. No other websites I found at the time had any information on it. We had one of those root kits (aluron) that prevented us from browsing the internet - and redirected the browser to …
Re: I also wish they made that adapter. We're using legacy-type database software that can only print to a parallel port. But our new printer just has a USB port. We can't use that printer unless it can be converted to parallel.

Re: I like the super mini keyboard, at about 8" across, is less than half the size of a standard keyboard. Great for saving space. It's slightly inconvenient though because it doesn't have a numeric keypad and uses function keys to get special characters. Cost less than $10.
We have one computer with 2 NICs. The first NIC connects to a DSL modem. Second NIC to a wireless router, (used to connect to card readers). Each has a different IP address, on different subnets. When the wireless router is on, it blocks internet access, from the DSL line. …
Re: I have this same exact problem on a new HP pentium with a serial (SATA) hard drive. It looked like the problem might be the drive itself, until you mentioned you got the same problem with a new hard drive. So maybe something to do with the controller(?). I wouldn't …
Re: Check the setting for SMTP server, that is the server that sends outgoing mail. See if you can ping that server.
Re: May want to try Itunes, it's a great tool for burning music CD's. It's a free download, and works on IBM compatibles as well as McIntosh.
We have Outlook running on Windows XP, it got corrupted and now can't recieve new email. But we can send mail, so our connection to the SMTP server must be alright. We tried deleting and reinstalling Outlook from the Office 2000 CD (but didn't reboot) and din't fix the problem. … |
