true. the GA-73VM-S2 is also a little older mobo and just may not have updated the E2200 to the supported list. from what i have found, it should theoretically work. just be careful.

Your CPU is a socket 775 so any board that will support your dual core will also support most Quad cores. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131225 Good mother board, great price.

Honestly... unless you have some pretty wickedly hot equipment in there you really only need 3 fans. one at the bottom front blowing in, one at the top back sucking out and one on the top of the case sucking out. This should apply to any average gaming computer. When …

Try replacing the cmos bats, If that doesn't work you might have disconected the PATA conectors for the HDD which would be bad because i think on alot of older laptops they are soldered directly to the board. To be honest you probably spent more on the new HDD than …

My suggestion is not to upgrade. unless you are wanting to get into some serious gaming a 1.8 dual core should be plenty. just make sure you have 2Gb of RAM and a nice Fat Video card and it should do anything you want it to do. The reason i …
