no idea where to begin. i have an excel spreadsheet that i want to use a web browser to display its contents and i want to be able to filter those results. it's a list of all the movies i own. i have the database plus two external files, whose file locations are listed in the database. Attached is a picture of what I am ideally looking for in the listing page and a sample of the database. From that, I'd like to be able to search for title, actors, ratings, and also filter by genre.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

in internet programming i.e. to show our data to the world, normally we don't use Excell but some kind of database like MySQL or MS-SQLServer
and we write the program to display it in appropriate layout
for the beginning u can browse through the internet the site who has the same information (movie database) to see how it works
