i dont know how to insert an image but here i am going to tell you the procedure which is normally opted by all programmers to do so
you need to store the name of image file and just save this name to the database and store the image file to specified directory
i used this method when i was learning web programing however i am not in touch with web programing from last 3 years.
hope above procedure will helps you to store image
