Hi, i'm not sure this is in the right place but here goes:

I'm currently using ADO in VBScript to access a SQL Server database and one of my current issues is returning the full error message that a stored procedure generates.

I can get a brief error description and even the native error code using the Errors collection on a connection object, but this doesn't give me the exact message that SQL itself would leave in the Messages tab.

Sure, I could just get the code and match it up in my Vbscript, but that's not exactly what I want to do.

Is it possible to retrieve the entire text returned in that Messages tab?

See GetLastError and FormatMessage API...

Good Luck
