Hi all,

I'm working on a little 'remote' project for my media center and have everything in place to start making it look pretty except for one thing.

Is there a way to control windows media player (play/pause/skip/volume/seek etc) from with vb.net without having to embed the player?

To give you an idea of what I mean.

The idea is to have this small remote program running and displaying on a small 10inch touchscreen monitor (setup as a second monitor) which enables me to select and play my media on my projector through media player. I've got everything else sorted, but I would like the ability to control some of the functions within mplayer itself so I don't have to have a mouse connected to the pc running the projector.
