hii alll,,i hav a simple problem,,,i am using asp.net 2005 and sql server 2005..
i m using vb language..i have a page whr i can update the existing details on the click of the update button in the database,,,,what i want is if nothing is updated ,,,and evn i press the update button,,the page should not get refreshed,,,
how i can achieve tht?????

Hey, How about using AJAX for updating the database?
That way, the page won't get refreshed both times.
