Hey all,

I'm trying to get Google Maps on my website and I'm not exactly sure what todo. I got an API key from Google and then some coding but I don't know what todo with it. The reason I want Google Maps on my website is because I want my customers to know how to get to the store from all over florida. If anyone could help that would be awesome. Thank you.

You can easily embed a Google Map on your website.

  1. Go to http://www.google.com/maps
  2. Select the "My Maps" tab
  3. Click the "Create new map" button
  4. Sign in (create a google account if you need to)
  5. Pan, zoom and add placemarks/lines/shapes to create the map you want and save it
  6. Select "Link to this page" at the top right of the map
  7. Choose "Customize and preview embedded map"
  8. Specify the height and width of the map in pixels and zoom/pan to obtain the view you want to be displayed.
  9. Copy and paste the generated HTML into your own webpage

The map will then appear on your webpage. I'd make a map that contains a placemark showing the location of your business, then users can zoom/pan around the map to find out how to get there from wherever they want.

Good luck!
