can you help with the htaccess required to turn this url into the folder type (see example)

http://localhost/history.php?u=vlowe&id=447733337761&days=1

into

http://localhost/history/vlowe/447733337761/1

Writing MVC?
I always redirect whole url into index.php and slice and rewrite it using PHP. I will be also watching for a solution but few days ago there was a discussion on like subject, .htaccesss
