I want to know if there is a way to display an excel doc in a web page and be able to edit the source doc on the server and have it update it in real time back to the web.

You would need to convert the excel document to pull it's values from a database (access). You could then write a standard form which will show the data, and allow users to change the values etc. When submitted, the results are just fired over to the database, and next time …

You could then write a standard form which will show the data, and allow users to change the values etc. When submitted, the results are just fired over to the database, and next time excel opens, the new values are reflected.
