We have a MS Access database located on a shared drive. Is there a way I can allow multiple users to access and update the database at the same time?

Hi, I am having problems with deleting part of a record. The record has approximately 15 different fields, and I only wish to delete 3 of them using the following piece of SQL coding: DELETE [PMID 1], [PMName 1], [Price 1] FROM Subscriptions WHERE [Customer ID]="001" The code works absolutely fine, but it just doesn't do what I want it to. Instead of deleting those 3 fields, it deletes the entire row, which isn't very helpful. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance :)

I know this might be a very simple one, but yet I can't figure that one out! How do I get data from one table that are not in another? Let's say Table ServerA has: IP, User, Password, Table ServerB has: IP, CanConnect. If ServerA has 20 rows and ServerB has 13 rows. How do I get those 7 rows that are in ServerA but not in ServerB? Hey guys! I have created an Access 2010 database. On one of the tables, there are fields [Start Time], [End Time] and [Total Time]. The user will input the start and end times but and the total time will be the difference between the two. I cannot figure out how to go about this. I have just started using Access 2010 and am experiencing problems with it corrupting the database. To take one example I have a database with one module in it. Today when I open the module in design view Microsoft Access falls over with the error "Microsoft Access has stopped working" Compact and repair does not fix it. you can't import objects into another database because that causes Access to fall over as well. It is a recurring problem and it is driving me batty. Has anyone any ideas on what is going on.

Main Form = Frm_Engineer_Search Sub Form = Frm_Engineers Frm_Engineers populated by Tbl_Engineers I've been trying to link together a textbox with a subform so when a surname is entered into TxtSearch and CmdSearch is click it will run a query/refresh the subform displaying the correct record which correspond to the entered surname. Is this possible? I've tried entering into Qry_Engineer_Search in the Surname attribute criteria [Forms!][Frm_Engineer_Search!][TxtSearch] and add me.refresh to CmdSearch Click event but it just refreshes the whole form. I have a report based on a query that uses parameters (Date datatype). In the report header I have some other data that is also generated using the parameters (Same parameters). This data is generated programatically and I use a dialog box with date in it. Now, I want to make the report ask for date once the first time and then use that date for the query as well. I have two tables, Episodes and Seizures, with their respective Forms. On Episodes, I have a button the user clicks to open the seizure Form and its internal working is below. The problem is when the form is opened and filtered by parent form, the seizure form instead of filtering data, overwrites the first available record's incident number with the one that is passed. When I have the seizure table set to make sure Incident num is unique, it throws duplicate data error, and if it allows duplicate (Which is what i need), it creates new records. Suggestions? I have a table for Account Transaction. For each transaction a user must select a transaction category. These are stored in a second table which has a categoryID, description and a text box with only two values {'Income', 'Expense'}. Now in the report, I am grouping by Income/Expense. However, I want to be able to calculate the sub-totals of incomes and expenses and then show what the difference is. I am able to calculate the subtotals, but have no idea how to calculate the difference. Ideas?
