I'm Carl, and I'm certainly glad to be here.
I am a freelance writer working extensively in the IT and telecom sector. I am not an engineer or computer person, but more someone who looks at the impact of the technology. Among other things, I run my own blog/site, <URL SNIPPED>The IT-Finance Connection. The URL is in my profile. The bottom line is that there is a chronic disconnect between IT on one side and the CEO/CFO and other more financially-oriented folks on the other. That is becoming a bigger problem as technology becomes ever-more central to a company's fate. It's a rich area, and one I intend to pursue at Daniweb.
