I read this blog post today and it made me think on how behavioral data have allowed advertisers to "personalize" certain types of advertising.

Unlike the blogger, I do read the political pamphlets on my mailbox but I also wonder if I will become more engaged if I knew some of the people on the ad.

But on the other ad, if the ad had too much personal information about me, I would be turned off.
