I have read about browser compatibility and made amendments so that a slideshow works on my website as intended on 4 browsers.
I have checked it on my laptop with Mozilla-Firefox, Google-Chrome,Safari, Opera and IE8 using Windows 7 Home Premium and still have an issue with IE8.
However from my desktop using Windows XP the display is distorted only with Mozilla-Firefox but works well with IE8.
I am accessing the server so the coding is obviously the same in all cases.
The screen resolution on the desk-top and laptop is the same.
Does the difference lie in the OS or the browser or something else?

Are all the browsers of the same version? I mean: same IE version, same Chrome version etc.?
