I have a PC operting XP. Recently, the CRT monitor blacks out when an icon is clicked or power management cuts in.
The monitor does not respond to mouse movement and only displys whem PC is switched of & restarted.

Can any one shine a light on this?

try borrowing another monitor to test if it still dose this with another monitor ,or is it the computer that is acting up.!
