My RasterOps SuperScan MC 801 is getting dark starting on lower rt. corner, which is fixed by degauss button. My question is, I am having to do this almost every other day. Seems like something is going bad with the monitor...anyone have any info on what this can be and how to fix?

If degauss cures it, then a magnetic field is present somewhere in the vicinity. Did you get new speakers, or moved them around recently? Sometimes the magnetic field generated by the speaker's magnet cause the problems you describe.
