I have a cdrw which is causing some problems. when i am playing music from the harddrive and recording a cd to the hd from the cdrw, the cursor freezes up and the whole computer spazes out for a minute and when it comes out of it the door to the cdrw won't open until after rebooting. the drive is an optorite cw5205. on the manufacturers website there are two firmware updates for this unit.
what is the proceedure for installing a firmware update? I hope it would solve the problem, but i don't know how to install the update.
