I have attempted to deal with the two white plastic bits that are under the pad, but am hoping there is some kind of sequence of things to do that get the pad back on top of the letter. I know I can type without the pad, but I'd rather have it on and am hoping I don't have to buy an entire new keyboard for one letter that has popped off.

I am using a Mac Powerbook G4.

It has been so long since I posted that the pad has gone missing. Still I'd like to know how to fix the problem in case it happens again with another key pad.
