I am working on a computer that has the base amt of system requirements to make the Blu-ray SATA drive to function. The only problem is, it will not show in My Computer on the Windows XP Home Ed. P.C. I tried changing jumper positions and cable positioning, flip-flopped from cable to cable. The SATA drive is plugged in to a onboard port, the other ATA drives are on the usual cable connections.
The Mobrd is a ASUS: A7V8-LA w' AMD Sempron +3000 (2GHz) CPU and 700 MB DDR Ram.
The LiteON Blu-ray drive's system req. are CPU: P4 2.0 GHz, OS: MSwindows 2000 SP4/XP SP2, Memory: 512 MB RAM or higher, Hard Drive: 30GB or higheravailable capacity. So, it should work, correct?
