Ok so I got some computers my g-f's mom got me from the library. 1 is different but 2 are identical and they both have ECS GeForce6100SM-M motherboards. Originally the computer would turn on, then would get to boot screen and turn off. So I wiped and formatted and that went fine. Then I tried to install xp and it would get partially through till the 39 minutes screen then turn off. So then I tried loading the sata drivers using F6 hoping that would help. It did partially as xp installed and booted. But now I am pretty much back to the same original problem. Not PSU swapped, same problem, tested different memory sticks, nothing. Looked at cables etc nothing Ran some tests and diagnostics with UBCD and all tests came up fine......I am completely lost right now. Can anybody shine some light onto the situation?.....Please :)
