Hi im new to deniweb.
I have a problem that is new to my computer screen.
My picture color keeps on switching to a dull yellow color, when i hit the monitor it goes back (only for a while). so i took out that monitor and brought in my small 15 inch monitor and hooked that up. it does the same thing, except when i hit the monitor it does not go back. but with the 15 incher i wiggle the cord near the graph card and the color goes back.
I have had a simular prob with my last card. but the picture would flicker not the color, and it took out my graph card.
I am worried that i am going to loose my fairly new graph card!
My spec's
Mobo: AN35 Shuttle
Graph card: 6600 GT AGP
screen: not LCD, the other one that is bulky.
I have not had any storms to produce any surges. i am using a old surge protector.
This all started when i hooked up my friends 17 inch monitor that he let me use, so i thought it was just the monitor, well the 15 inch has the same prob, but has a different way to fix it. (temporarly)
PLEASE HELP!! I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY NEW GRAPH CARD!
