I'm putting an old computer back together, and every time I start it up it stalls at "Detecting IDE Devices".
Motherboard: Abit KD7A
RAM: 1024 MB PC2700U
HD: Western Digital 160GB (Master), Maxtor 160GB (Slave)
CPU: AMD Anthlon 1833MHz

If you mean clear the CMOS, I already did that.
