Ok, so I have an ATI Radeon 9250 I got from wally world. It worked for like 3 months and all of a sudden stopped working on my computer... Now don't think i haven't troubleshooted, i found out it works just fine in my friend's computer, I've also tried updating drivers, checking bios, and re-installing my windows xp home. It's an HP Pavilion 7966, by the way.

Here's some more info on the problem...it actually works and all, until you start a game and it tries to render the 3d graphics or whatever. Then a thing comes up and says "graphics accelerator had to be restarted because it stopped responding to commands". And the game closes/freezes.

Reinstall your motherboard drivers and direct-X.

i have direct x 9 newly installed, and i looked for the driver to my asus p4b-la motherboard and could only find bios updates, no drivers.
