I've got a Sony VAIO laptop whose LCD screen looks brownish orange (rusty color) in the lower region (close to the base). The coloring is more pronounced as I move my head closer to the top of the screen looking downwards (ie line of sight almost parallel to screen). I hooked up the laptop to an external LCD display the coloring did not show. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?
