Hi,

I have a friend who has a small business and he asked me to help him setup a FileServer where they can store all their files and back up all their files. So far they have been doing all the work thru some consulting co. who has been ripping them off.

Here is their Current Setup.

Modem>>Router/Firewall>>Switches/Epbax>>Users

IBM Server X3200 M3 Xeon(which they want me to setup for File server,Just connected to the Switches)

They have a BYOD setup,so they all have Laptops and Computers with Admin rights.

They dont have AD, DC or FileServer Setup.

They Do have a Server lying around.

Here is the problem, They want to have a FileServer and Personal Shared Folders on the Network(That i can do with regular sharing).
They want to have Security for the FileServer by which one cannot see or access other folders.(Access Controll).

I am in a Fix as to what i should do... i need help people please.
