I just reformatted my computer (and what an improvement!) and mostly all is well. But one thing that does not seem to be happy is Windows Media Player. The picture quality is obviously degraded. All videos have a reddish hue to them and just look poor overall. This isn't happening in other media players. It occurs regardless of the location of the video (hard drive, streaming).
I've tried upgrading to WMP 10 with no success. (I'm back down to 9 right now). I haven't found anything reference drivers for WMP that I can install or upgrade. I did a search for this and returned the same Microsoft help page 1000 times over and nothing more.
Any ideas?
