Just wondering if there was any way to clear it out. When you go to change your homepage, and you type the first w in it pop open a list of sites that have either been your homepage at one time, or sites you have visited. I don't think its a problem, but some of them I would never want as a homepage, and I would rather not see them pop up at all. Thanks for any insight.........

asked why previous homepages and visited sites pop up when typing a new homepage. That dropdown is generated by Internet Explorer's AutoComplete / typed-URL history and the normal browsing history. 's suggestion to clear browsing history and 's tip about removing cached files will remove many entries, but they don't always remove the small "typed URLs" list that supplies the Home page box suggestions.

if you are using internet explorer go to Tools>Internet Options, click on the 'General' Tab and click on the clear history button.

Go to your temporary internet files folder and in address bar add ''content.IE5''
E.G.: ..../temporaryInternet Files/content.ie5

Then delete everything in the folder.
