Here's the thing - I dual boot XP and Vista. The picture on my HP LCD monitor in XP is excellent. The picture quality on my HP LCD is crap.

It's the 'blooming' of the text on anything other than a white background. Like a little white halo effect. It's annoying as hell. Makes me wanna keep using XP instead of Vista (this is a major niggle for me, some of the problems with vista I have got used to but seeing as you stare at the screen to do stuff, picture quality is a serious must for me)

I have used various 'cleartype' tweakers and slid the sliders ad infinitum - all to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem? more importantly anyone solve it?
