Hello, ok so a while back i tried starting up my computer and all of a sudden all my icons and taskbar was gone, i later figured out that it was my explorer.exe not working properly. so i go and click ctrl alt del, new task then type in explorer.exe and my icons and stuff only come back for about 2 seconds then explorer.exe closes again. So i was wondering, does anyone have any tips for keeping explorer.exe open?


P.S: I can open files and stuff from task manager

It seems to be a kind of virus or rootkit.
Try an anti-virus like Eset NOD32 or Kaspersky.
