I want to use OpenDNS.com for my dns servers at work, but my companies dns servers have records that are not disseminated out side its network (for internal only dns resolution).

So what I've tried is putting all 4 name servers in my dns setting ordered by OpenDNS name servers then my work's name servers. Unfortunately, it appears Windows XP checks the primary name server and never tries the subsequent name servers if the primary responds, even if the primary doesn't have a record to resolve the dns query.

I suspect there may a way to make XP try the primary, then if it doesn't have a record to resolve the dns query, move to the secondary and so on. Is this possible? If not is there another way?
